Xzibit says ‘Pimp My Ride’ owes them money, threatens legal action

exhibit like wants a check, and he wants it now. Rapper and host claims ViacomCBS paid him for massively successful show pimp My Ride,

In addition to addressing the legal matter over the brand he had invested in, he decided to get a few more things off his chest.

He says, “While I’m at it, hey @viacom_intl why is it that you made millions from the #PimpMyRide show, put my back to you and find ways to bite me?” He wrote under a post of alleged legal documents on Instagram.

“Like saying I’ll get a percentage of all merch sold, streaming alone (which wasn’t even in the contract) and putting up the fine print of ‘with my name and likeness’ removed from all Merchandise including DVD sales after Season 1? The top one is that you guys went back and edited all my music out of all the seasons to avoid paying for my publication,” he continued.

He hosted the MTV series from 2004 to 2007. It was very popular at the time but was suddenly cancelled. And now the rapper is alleging that he still hasn’t been paid total royalties despite the company using his face and the prospect of the show’s succession.

Oh.

“Let’s talk about worldwide syndication!!!! Brilliant. Hey guys my number is still the same. Hit me,” he continued. Not afraid to do Viacom? Paramount Global President Robert M. Buckish. … #IveBeenQuietLongEnough #InNeedOfAnswers.”

Viacom is yet to respond.
