White House calls out Republicans criticizing student-loan forgiveness

“this you?” The White House isn’t one or two! He had your time. On Twitter, the account called out several Republicans, including Marjorie Taylor Green, Matt Gaetz, Mike Kelly and others who criticized student-loan forgiveness. However, Republicans forgot that they were forgiven for their Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans. The Biden administration began to list the amount of the forgiven loan. The account shared a video of Representative Green speaking negatively in a Newsmax interview on Wednesday, saying the loan cancellation was “totally unfair”.

“For our government to just say, you know, ‘Okay, your debt has been completely forgiven,’ … that’s totally unfair,” she said.

“Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene had $183,504 forgiven in PPP loans,” the White House tweeted. Republican Mike Kelly was also kicked out after he tweeted,

“It’s not unreasonable to ask plumbers and carpenters to pay off the debts of Wall Street advisors and lawyers. It’s also bad policy.”

The call out did not end here. Matt Getz was forgiven $482,321, Congressman Markway Mullin forgave more than $1.4 million, and Congressman Kevin Hearn forgave more than $1 million in PPP loans. As we reported earlier, estimates suggest that President Joe Biden on Wednesday announced the cancellation of a federal student loan that would offer a $10,000 waiver for students earning $125,000 or less per year, a plan that could cost the government $300 billion.

During a recent press conference, President Biden was snapped with a reporter who pressed his buttons.

She also clapped when asked by a reporter about the fairness of student loan forgiveness! Roommates, what do you think of the White House shenanigans?
