Week 2: Injury Report – Seahawks.com

Seahawks.com Senior Reporter
The Seahawks have a quick turnaround coming off a Monday night game, and were back on the field Wednesday less than 48 hours after their season-opening win over Denver.
And on a positive note for a couple of players who missed the opener due to injury, running back Kenneth Walker III (hernia) and left guard Damien Lewis (ankle/knee) were both full participants. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said both players have a good shot of returning for Sunday’s game at San Francisco so long as they get through the week OK.
The Seahawks had five players sit out practice, four due to injury, while veteran guard Gabe Jackson got a rest day. Jamal Adams was out as expected with what Carroll has described as a serious knee injury, while cornerback Artie Burns, who missed Monday’s game, remains sidelined with a groin injury. Three other players other players, defensive end Shelby Harris (back), safety Quandre Diggs (knee), also sat out Wednesday’s practice, though it’s worth noting that they both finished the game and are likely just resting minor injuries on a short week.
Most notably on San Francisco’s injury report, All-Pro tight end George Kittle was listed as a non-participant after missing Sunday’s opener with a groin injury.
