After a 941-day absence, Thompson joined his Warriors to the delight of fans and teammates.

They knew Thompson could be a big difference-maker and the missing puzzle piece needed to get them back in the finals.

To be sure, Thompson ended up being a big part of his success last season.

elite kill returns

The injuries, surgery and rehabilitation that Thompson went through were brutal and kept him off the court for a very long time.

It’s rare to see an NBA player miss that amount of time.

The warriors were able to survive without him, but there was no doubt that they would be even better when he returned.

Of course, Thompson had to wring some rust out of himself, but in the end, his season average was 20.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists.

When you look deeper into his stats, you see that his field goals and three-point percentage are significantly lower than last season.

Nevertheless, Thompson became really important to the team and helped them reach the sport’s championship level once again.

Now that he’s back and healthy again, you can expect a lot more from Thompson next season.

He is doing very well after losing so many matches but he can do better in the coming season.
