The Mets continue to celebrate their elite pairing

We’ve said that many times in this space, but the fact is they were able to pair Max Scherzer with jacob degrom Incredibly impressive in that same rotation, and it should be celebrated.

When they’re both healthy, there’s no doubt they’re the best one-two punch in MLB.

They’ve both suffered a lot in 2022, especially deGrom, but they’re both healthy now and ready to make sure the Mets can get back in the postseason.

New York has one of the best outfits in MLB with a 73–39 record that only the Los Angeles Dodgers have been able to surpass.

Mets aces are healthy and dominating

Now that Scherzer and deGrom are both healthy and in a groove, they are in a position to challenge the Dodgers for the unofficial crown “best team in MLB.”

In fact, the two teams are highly likely to face each other in the playoffs, perhaps even in the National League Championship Series.

In three or four of those games it would be huge to have a degrom and a shaver pitch.

The Mets posted a nice picture of the two aces chatting.

Looks like they are enjoying their conversation.

Hopefully, the two can stay healthy for the rest of the season and gift fans some of the most impressive stretch runs and playoff performances we’ve seen in recent memory.

Mets fans are in for a real treat watching those two guys consistently start postseason games.

They hope to win their first World Series title since 1986.
