It is never too late to do anything that you set your mind to. Whether it’s going back to school, family, or even getting your driver’s license. Today, NORE shared on Twitter that he was going to take his exams to officially receive his license. “On my way to take a road test for my first license. I’ve had 35 cars in my life but never had a license. Good luck to me,” he tweeted.
Some may wonder why the 44-year-old doesn’t have his own license to begin with. Remember she is a Queens, New York Native, and many New Yorkers, do not have a license. The rapper and co-host of the “Drink Champs” podcast appeared very happy on his way to take the test. He took a moment to bang his head for ‘Break My Soul’ by Beyoncé.
It didn’t take long for NORE to share the good news. He shared a video on Instagram with the caption, “I got my license no highway is safe my first license ever ya imma grown man who can drive on cars now I’m excited!!!!”
More than 4,000 roommates commented on the post congratulating him. One wrote, “Real New Yorker vibes – grew up without licence, loves it for that.” Another wrote, “Remember he’s from NYC, before you ask why he’s driving now! Some people don’t need cars because their parking spaces cost the same as $500 a month.”
According to politician, 2020 reports show that there were approximately 228.2 million licensed drivers in the United States. California issued the most licenses in the country that year at about 27 million and New York at 12,194,360. Do you think getting NORE its license will motivate more New Yorkers to get its license?
