According to South Brunswick Police, at around 2 p.m. Wednesday, an eyewitness said they saw a woman trying to jump out of the cabin of a semi-truck while it was pulled over Route 130. It was on the way to the exit from Ridge Road. ,

As reported by NBC News, the witness was shopping at a car dealership at the time of the incident. As reported by NBC News, the woman looked like she was in trouble and was screaming for help at one point.

Witnesses said they could see the woman allegedly bleeding from her face, and she was then dragged “back into the cab”. Police said the victim had almost got off the truck before forcibly going back inside.

Surveillance footage showed a man who saw the woman walking just before the truck was speeding. The suspect is described as an older white male who is bald with a white beard. The victim is said to be either Hispanic or a blonde woman in her 20s with long brown hair. The victim was wearing a brown flannel shirt.

As reported by NBC News, the truck was a white Volvo trailer cab with blue letters on the side.
