The Seahawks and Lions combined for the highest-scoring game of the 2022 season, as quarterback Geno Smith and running back Rashaad Penny led a high-powered offensive attack. Smith finished 23 of 30 for 320 yards and two passing touchdowns, along with 49 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown. Smith notched consecutive 300-yard games for the first time in his career. Spreading the field, Smith found eight different targets, including tight end Noah Fant, who caught his first touchdown as a Seahawk.
Penny hit the century mark for the first time this season, rushing for 151 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries.

Lockett finished with six receptions for 91 yards. Despite stepping away from the game briefly, Metcalf dominated against Detroit, finishing with seven receptions for 149 yards.Seattle’s defensive struggles continued, as the Seahawks gave up 520 yards of total offense and 145 rushing yards. Punter Michael Dickson was missing in action Sunday, as the Seahawks did not punt the ball once against Detroit.
