Keke Palmer gets real about adult acne in new video

Acne doesn’t just affect anyone physically. This can lead to a roller coaster of emotions. just ask KK Palmer. in a new video, the actor still got to know about dealing with adult acne. Palmer always keeps it real but it’s still refreshing to see such a big star saying what we’re all thinking: Why is acne still so hard to treat?!

Earlier this week, Palmer took to Instagram to make a joke-but-not-video calling on doctors to develop a treatment for adult acne. “Plastic surgeons are amazing,” she says. “About all these years and all these inventions – owl jobs, muscle over, muscle under, tummy tuck, bbl, even transplanted muscles – but you can’t figure out how to take beautiful skin off my ass and put it on my face? I’m tired of it, I’m done with it, people here adult acne Struggling and you’re not finding that cure?”

This isn’t the first time Palmer has spoken out about her acne struggle. Back in December 2020, she revealed that she was diagnosed with Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).

“For some of you it may be TMI, but for me my platform is always used for a lot more things than me,” she wrote, ‚ÄúPoly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome has been attacking me from the inside out all my life and I had no idea. My acne has gotten so bad that people in my area offered to pay me money to get it fixed. Tried to do something.”

Palmer says she was put on Accutane twice, ate well and got clear blood. The doctors didn’t see anything wrong. So, she took her health into her own hands and did her research, brought what she found to a doctor and received a proper diagnosis. But even after getting answers, dealing with PCOS symptoms, such as acne, can be an ongoing struggle. But talking about it, like Palmer does, helps get rid of the stigma. Because all skin is good skin.
