Kanye West slams Adidas for allegedly making Yeezy Day without his approval

For all you know, Kanye West doesn’t play about his brand, and he’s blasting Adidas once again! As you all know, Adidas owns Kanye’s ‘Yeezy’ streetwear brand, and they are accusing him of celebrating Yeezy Day without his approval.

For the past few years, Adidas has set one day for the re-release of a host of Yeezy sneakers. This year, Yeezy Day took place on August 1 and 2, and there are allegations that the brand created the day without their permission. Complex,

Complex reports that Kanye sent the publication a direct message on Instagram, expressing his complaints with the Adidas brand. In the said message, she not only slammed Yeezy Day, alleging that the company made the hiring decisions without her knowledge and stole some of her designs for her own shoes.

Adidas created the idea for Yeezy Day without my approval and then brought back old styles without my approval and named colors without my approval and hired people who stole my colorways without my approval stole my styles without my approval and approached material without my approval, went and rented a gram of Yeezy without my approval…”

The longer message continued to accuse the athletic brand of using Ye’s ideas—including allegations from Adidas slowing down production of their collabs with Balenciaga and the Gap. The message ended with a plea, “God step in.”

As we reported earlier, Kanye put Adidas on blast back in June, when the company released images of its 2022 Adidas slides. According to Ye, the slides are similar to his famous Yeezy slides and he accused the Three Stripes brand of “blunt copying” in a post on Instagram.
