How Alyssa Limparis hopes her comedy will inspire people to deal with loss

Comedy can be healing in more ways than one.

“The best part of any show is that someone comes up to me and just shares their experience with me,” she exclusively told E! News. news. “I think allowing people to be okay with what they see as their experience on grief, I hope people come out of it.”

Special writing—which he began working on after his father’s death from brain cancer in 2015— helped Limparis release suppressed feelings, as she told E! News, “I have to share what I just did and that’s where the show started. So, it was really cathartic in that sense.”
