Sometimes all you need is a day of rest.

Even the best players in all of baseball need them from time to time.

Many times, a day off in sports works wonders for those who need them.

just ask Aaron Judge,

The judge was discharged on Tuesday night against the Tampa Bay Rays, and ultimately ended last night with a two-homer game as the Yankees took the series from their division rivals.

As he said in the very first PowerDay commercials, stagnation is power.

A day of rest can always benefit a player.

Even the best in the business will need them from time to time.

Obviously, it’s working for the judge.

Not that he needs a few days off, but when he gets a day off, it’s as if he comes back the next day with a vengeance.

Each time after a game in which he did not start, the judge scored two home runs the next day.

And right now, he is on pace to win the MVP Award in the American League.

Admittedly, he’s faced some health struggles over the years, but the prescribed days of rest may be what’s really helping him stay on track.

If there’s one guy you want to keep fresh if you’re a Yankee, he’ll be the judge.

The Yankees need to recover if they want to compete in the World Series title in 2022.
