2 dead, several injured in shooting at Kentucky homeless shelter

Two people were killed and several others injured Thursday night in a shooting at a homeless shelter for men in Kentucky.

Henderson Police Department Responds to an Active Shooter Incident at Harbor House Christian Center, Officers Told,

Police said Henderson’s Kenneth B. Gibbs had been identified as the suspect and was taken into custody at 9:55 p.m.

abc news affiliate WEHT reported That coroner said two people were fatally shot inside the building and two were taken to hospital for medical attention.

Harbor House, where the incident took place, is a Christian-based organization that is “a safe harbor for men in need” and is “dedicated to bringing men into the community,” according to its Facebook page.
